Hi All,
Something that has occurred to me is that Overclockers do the excellent Grenadier GX6 AMD FX-6 6300 Black Edition @ 4.2GHz Six Core Gaming Bundle. for which I am currently using and its excellent value for money.
The thought occurs is there much benefit in having this particular bundle over purchasing the same motherboard (Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3), same RAM but instead of using the AMD FX6-6300 with the massive Akasa Nero cooler just purchasing the next CPU up - the AMD FX6-6350 which is clocked at 3.9Ghz and using the stock cooler that comes with it?
Not sure exactly how much difference between doing it either way would be. but I imagine it wouldn't be too much.
Any thoughts?
Blakey
