Hi,
Am new to this overclocking business, and want initially a mild overclock.
I have a i3770k running on a P8Z77-Pro.
I have found that a manually set VCore of 1.26v allows a stable overclock with multiplier of 45 for a resultant 4.5Ghz.
The Vcore under full load read 1.265-1.27v and core temps never exceed 70C under full load.
So am pretty happy with that.
However, couple of things.
1) I notice that the VID reading in Core Temp under load is around 1.31V...what does this mean?
2) Would I be better using the offset mode, rather than putting a constant 1.26v through it, when under normal usage only need just over 1v? And how do I do this?
