Overclock since BIOS update..

So I have a ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 with 2500K, runs at 4.4 without breaking a sweat.

Now since I just updated my BIOS (Needed to so I could get Hyper V working in W8) the speed is always at the full speed, i.e 4.4

Before this update it used to be up and down as it normally would depending on load.

Is there a setting I have missed in the BIOS to stop this happening?

I use the auto mode for overclocking.

Check Intel speedstep is enabled in the BIOS,and look in windows/power saving that your using balanced power profile

Speed step is on and power setting is balanced
