Overclockable AM2 Motherboard

I have an Asus AM2 M2N-E motherboard - and it's a terrible overclocker. What's the best motherboard for overclocking which has an AM2 socket?

Price really isn't a problem, though nothing daft. I have an AMD 6000+ CPU and 2GB of OCZ ram that I think can go upto 2.1v.

An Asus Crosshair or an M2N32-Sli Dlx would be good bets, price of them usually seems to be a bit daft though... Check out the bay maybe, they are both excellent motherboards.
You sure you're going to get much more out of the 6000?

The M2N32-SLI Deluxe WiFi is a good clocker...but my chip isn't

It's a nice board, and the built in WiFi can be really handy...but it isn't great.

For actual clocking purposes there is prettymuch every setting under the sun that can be changed...mose confused me, so I just ran simple CPU clocks to test it...best I got out of the 4600+ from 2.4Ghz was 2.7Ghz, and that wasn't all that stable...may have been the RAM though.

Hmm...that was what I was thinking. With my current chip the best I could get out of it was 3.1GHz, but I have heard that it can go up to 3.5, which might be worth an upgrade. It's still just a thought though..

Yes, but it's black. It's got to be better

Actually it is better - it has 2x2mb cache

It's 2x1mb Cache, just there was mistaken product description here and no doubt other places.
Comes in a fancy black box so people say "ooh, I want it..."

In reality your 6000 will probably clock just as well and no doubt cost less than the 6400.

Crosshair has ESATA and has more tweaks than any mobos I have ever seen even Asus own flagship Striker E Intel CPU mobos.

But you get a good one or a dud, mines fried.

That's the risk you take for oc'ing though, you either get a product from a good week or a bad week..

Hmm, no clue what your on about, I never mentioned overclocking it.

My Mobo was a dud since day 1, Google is full of same, it finally fried after 5weeks of messing about trying differnt parts, took 1 PSU and 2 CPU's with it, got all mt money back and got a Striker E, again they can also be dodgy going by reports, not sure WTF Asus is doing with Flagship Mobos.
