Hm you said 38-39 idle

My venice 3000 on a freezer 64 pro, is at 29 idle, and 38 underload.... also its at 2.45ghz (3800 speeds)

At 1.450v too - Edit

Quite right, sorry :) 38 - 39 under load. Load being 2 hours of Prime 95 torture test. 2.0ghz is fine with mem divider at 180 and vcore at 1.45. Been playing about further tonight.

Thanks for all the replies. Always makes for interesting reading.

My SD's turn tomorrow

Time for some CS S Now though :p

just to update I took 2X256 ram off my lil bro's computer, its geil ultra dual channel so I wanted to test it out, atm its on stock voltage and running 230 @ 2/3/3/6 with ease, I guess the fact that I've got 2X512 of mixed ram is whats causing me problems.

I was wrong to say my ram would do 230 lol, it cant even manage 220.
So i've wacked my CPU upto 270 with my ram at 180 - and nows its stable.
Im getting a much better score with Super PI with two matched dual channel ram, a time of 34 seconds - Im guessing this would be around 30-31 seconds with ram running at 1:1 with decent timings.
I'll leave it running like this for a bit then run at 2.8ghz, I'm going to max the volts on the CPU as the highest option is 1.65-1.70.
