Hello guys this is my first post here i just need to get something clarified basically i have a Overclockers Viper PC which came with a 4.00Ghz overclocked i recently lost that setting and recovered it from the BIOs profiles but for some reason after about 15 minutes i start getting the BSOD and have o idea why it was fine a few days ago ive cleaned out my pc as well.

any help would be appreciated thank you very much

PS: the cores on the 4Ghz were monitoring at 80 degrees which i dunno if thats bad or not?

I'm not convinced he should be upping his vcore when he is already hitting 80c mate.

I think you should ask OcUK themselves about this in the customer services bit of the forum, they are unlikey to see it here anyway.

bit odd to be an unstable OC when OC did it themselves ill try again anyway and put the voltage up a little bit hopefully if not ill try go to 3.82 might be safe thanks for the quick replies

Did you remove the CPU cooler when you cleaned out the PC? Could be that the thermal paste didn't spread properly or the heatsink isn't seated correctly.

Have you checked all the fans are still spinning, no connectors where knocked loose etc.

nope didnt touch anything there was another fan that came with it that must have become unplugged i plugged in back in and placed it over the cpu and its running fine now only thing is once i lift my pc up to its normal position the fan wont hold there >.<
