Overclocked bundle upgrade

Currrent specs
E8400
8800GTS 640
4GB RAM
Gigabyte 965P DS3 board

I know the CPU should be able to clock well past 3GHz and others had good results with the mobo but I could never get the OC to hold - it would work ok at 3.2 and then the next time the PC was started it dropped back to 2.66 or whatever is its standard speed.

I've settled on the following for an upgrade to my current system.

Hopefully the 5770 will fit in the case - the case has to be that shape as the PC lives on a shelf and my existing Silverstone case has seen better days. Mouse and KB are a bit passed it too hence the new ones.

Pat on the back preferably.

Sorry, just indecisive about the graphics card and not entirely sure it will fit in the HTPC case.

My existing PSU is a Seasonic but not 100% what output.

Thinking about it for not much more I could just get the whole AVP machine that OC do which has the same OC'd bundle and GPU. Its in a desktop case but I could gut it for my current HTPC case and I get some extra bits and bobs.

the gpu will fit in easily, to see pics of the case with stuff in it you could look at my htpc build thread as i used one of those cases - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18105919

the gpu i used is a passive 2600xt with a large heatpipe cooler on it so the 5770 will fit in easily

btw the case does not come with an ir remote
