Overclocked Bundles NEED HELP!!!!!

ATi Radeon HD 5870M graphics better then NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460M 1.5GB GDDR5??
The 5870M is around as fast as 5770, as for the GTX460M...base on it with 192CUDA cores, it should be a little faster than the GTS450 with 192CUDA cores since it has higher memory bandwidth and more ram...so gaming performance wise the 5870M and GTX460M shouldn't be hugely different (but CUDA may benefit if you has apps that use it). However, the MSI with the 5870M is A LOT CHEAPER than the other one with the GTX460M which you quoted (yes the laptop you quoted does have a faster CPU and 2GB more ram, but I don't think that worth extra £400).

One last question from me if I may,

When I buy and get it all working will I need to reinstall Wondows Vista, I was also thinking about buying Windows 7 but at a later date, tryin to save money.

Used to have Vista deffinatly change to Win 7 when you can you wont regreat it at all it is so much better.

Did you manage to find a good PSU for this card to replace the old one?

Aye, I would suggest one of these psus.

the 650w is plenty for a single gtx 470 system. however, if you want to run a second card in the future then i would suggest going for the slightly more expensive 750w.

Here is a review of these PSUs.

If you only need a 650W and want it to be modular - then this is a very good PSU (here is a review).

Sorry for a stupid question but what is this modular I keep reading about?

It means many (all in some cases) of the cables which connect from the PSU to the components are detachable. This means you only connect up what you need - so building and maintaining the PSU is less hassle and looks tidier. Have a look at this page (the review for the 750W version of the antec) and see how the detachable cable arrangement works.
