Overclocked Bundles

Guys,

I just seen the overclocked bundles that OCUK offer, just wondering if by special request they will overclock even higher for you.
If anyone has done this or know if it can be done, please do let me know

Dont think they would as they need to sell them as being reliable and stable in any case and that is the maximum they can guarantee it at. Still, you could always get in touch and ask them, no harm in asking

What bundle was it you were looking at? May not be able to get much more out of some of those systems anyway

hi there

for an additional charge we can overclock more
for instance i can push the chip as far as it will go for 24/7 use
however, as this requires significantly more time to get right and involves more testing we tend to say no in most cases

if you give the sales team a call and discuss your expectations then they will be able to give you a better estimation of what is achievable

They might be more inclined to do this with a pre-built overclocked system as they'll have more control over which case it's in and whether the CPU heatsink has been correctly fitted.
The bundles require the customer to fit the motherboard into a case of their own chosing, and manually fit the heatsink, so there's more scope for failure.
