I just noticed my Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz @ 3.40GHz core speed on CP-Z shows it running only at 1598 then fluctuating up to 2600 even underload it maxes on 2600 not 3400 like it used too
Could someone tell me whats gone wrong please

Thanks i phoned overclockers at i reset the cpu speed but i forgot to ask him about disableing the C1E what does that do and how can i do it ?
 
So basicly its stopping the speed step ? i was talking to one of the system support guys at oc and he said by disabling the speed step and leaving my pc on for a long time my electric bill would be a lot higher is this true ?
