Overclocked CPU ?

Might seem like a silly question , Is this telling me my CPU ( AMD FX-4100 @3.60 ) is being overclocked ? , CPU-Z says my Core Speed is @from 1755.94 up to 4515.07 ..can anyone tell me about this please

I assume the temp increases when my CPU is under load ie playing games or when im doing something that uses the CPU ?

normally a cpu at idle is about 24-35 and on load about 50 - 70

Ahh ok....mine is always idle at about 8 or 9 ..in fact it been as low as 1c...but for the most about 8c...but increases under load....but never really higher than about 40c at most .

Although on my older system a Dell XPS Studio 7100..temps would go up to 70+ when under load .

How can it idle at 8 or 9c? And 1c? Not possible unless you keep your PC in a fridge

The lowest your CPU is going to idle at is just above room temperature.

Lol the only answer I can give is it's always been like that since i put it all together about 3 weeks ago....and maybe the case has good fans

Thanx ...I'll give it a look see

yeah that didnt " see" my CPU ....but in the ASUS AI Suite CPU Temp is @32.2c that would be more reliable yes ?
