im so glad you said that :D

When running the bundle in a zero airflow enclosed situation the Fenrir was almost 10 deg cooler.

The Fenrir has a brilliant ability to ramp its fan up from a very quiet little beast to a full on typhoon. Closest a cooler has come so far to doing it all and it is rapidly becoming the office favourite.

Mounting on them is brilliant too, all Titan need to do now is sort out the packaging. :p

Thanks! Actually went ahead and ordered yesterday (sunday). What is the turn around on this item? Is it likely to be despatched today?

Due to testing we normally look at about 48 hours for the bundle.

May be able to get it out quicker but we do not rush them out of the door. :)

Probably to be on the safe side but Rich does bulk build these so miracles can happen. :)

Just keep an eye on your email inbox.

I want to get a GeForce SLI set up working with this bundle. In the past, I've had serious issues with SLI 8800GTX (OcUK brand) when it comes to upping the FSB and modifying the voltages etc. Do you think I would have any issues with, say, a 275 SLI package in this set up?

Plug them in and install the drivers. :)

Should not cause any trouble at all providing your case has decent ventilation.

Hi Yewen....

Sorry to push just wanna make plans in case this arrives tomorrow. Can you check whether order number - OC817615 has been tested and whether its being despatched today :)

Been built by Rich and is currently testing, all looking good for shipping later on this afternoon.

You will get a email confirmation once it has left us.

My case has good ventilation alright. It's an Akasa Eclipse 62 with forward and rear fans. On hotter days, I have a portable air-conditioner that I point at the front of the box. :)

On a slightly side note, and in terms of bang for buck - do you think that 2 x 275 (SLI) is better than 1 x 295 with this bundle? £354 for the 295 and £350 for the 2 x 275s.

Personally I would go with the 295, just from a easier to connect and will use slightly less power. It is more down to personal preference than anything.

HI - just thought I'd mention that I also had my eye on this bundle and thought it was a great idea. I have always wanted to get the best system and then push it but have not been the bravest it when comes to clocking. Problem solved with this - all the components look expertly chosen and are highly rated else where on the net.

I ordered on tuesday and am looking forward to getting the stuff.

I was hoping to ask about noise levels. To go with this I bought a BE QUIET power supply (1000w) and 2 samsung spinpoints to raid as OS drive and already have samsung spinpoint 1 tb for data. I have found the samsung drives whisper quiet and good performers. Also going into antec 900.

I gather the titan has the ability to be noisey when its stressed out but under normal load is it quite quiet or not really? I did have an OCZ 1000w and it sounded like a comms room!!!

Thanks for any feedback -

All sounds fine to me, the Fenrir is nice and quiet when it is not being pushed but once the temperatures start going up the fan comes into its own and begins to move some serious air.

Hi thinking of ordering this bundle but first can you advise, are the pci & pcie slots well spaced on this board? reason for asking, I have a xfi elite pro soundcard (pci).Would this interfere with sli setup(space wise)? Does the bundle come with cables, connectors etc that are with say just the mobo?

They are as well spaced as they come, you will have to have a single slot card to run the PCI card as well.

rick fowler please use the customer support forum for support issues as it is the only way of guaranteeing a reply.

The bundle is supplied with a full 12 month warranty with ourselves on all the components used running at 4.00GHz.

Ok, I went for it - I must be nuts! Order placed yesterday for the 295 with this bundle. I've already got a note to say that it's been dispatched though - could this possibly be correct? I thought it took a few days to test and overclock these babies?

Order number: OC823832

Rich spends all his time making and shipping these bundles and has revised his bundle making process to improve output, he had to otherwise he would be sleeping on the technical department floor. :p

We allow 48 hours for building under normal cicumstances but like to ship same day where possible.

Would make no difference at all to the performance of the 4.00GHz bundle, the best possible hardware configuration is already on the bundle and with the settings / target we have for the product it is not really possible to improve on it without massive cost increases for very small gains.

Just wanted to report back on my experience with the new bundle and the 295 I got. It all arrived on Friday and I spent Friday night / Saturday morning setting it all up.

I also managed to get my hands on an OCZ Vertex SSD HD too ... so that went into the setup too. :)

Anyway, I booted up and went straight into the BIOS. 4GHz as promised and no issues to see at this point. I then went on to install Windows 7.0 64-bit on the Vertex HD and it took next to no time to set up. Thankfully, nVidia have brought out native win 7 drivers and I had no issues with setting up the OS.

I tested with 3dmark 06 where I previously had a high score of 14200 with an 8800GTX and Q6600 @ 2.4GHz and 2GB RAM. Straight off the bat, I scored 25600. Utterly thrilled! Throughout, the temperature was stable at about 50-60 degrees C.

Stability isn't a problem with this set up, so I'm dead chuffed as I also need this computer for work purposes (I'm a software dev).

One thing though, I noticed that the OS and even CPU-Z reported the CPU at 2.6GHz, and not the full 4GHz. Oddly, even 3DMark reported 2.6GHz in the client program, but when it posted results to the site, it said 4GHz. Any idea what's going on here? Is it just a windows 7.0 glitch?

Just to confirm this is speedstep, it is a Intel technology which lowers the clock speed of your CPU when it does not need its full performance to lower temperature, slow the CPU fan down and consume less power. It is a win win win situation.

If you are pushing your CPU to the limit disabling it can get a higher maximum overclock but if you need any more power than 4.00GHz i7 then I would love to know what it is you are doing with your PC. :p

Oh ok ... Googling now to find out more. What's the general consensus on this?

Consensus is it is a brilliant feature to have enabled which is why on our flagship extreme bundle we have it enabled. :)

I would strongly suggest keeping it on as it makes the Fenrir much nicer to live with when not playing intensive games.

Glad you like it, is a fantastic bit of kit when you think what a 975 + bits would cost. :)

Not much time left to get one of these at this price guys.
