Yes, you read that right. Myself and Locky (Predominantly Locky[Credit where due]) spent a few minutes abusing this rather unassuming kit.
With the CPU @ 3.6GHz (i7 920) the RAM flew in at stock voltages and timings of 9-9-9-24 @ 1440MHz.
So, obviously we decidied that wasn't good enough and cranked the abuse levels up a bit resulting in:
Not bad for a £69.99 kit eh?
All that was needed for this ridiculously great overclock was :
1.66V for the RAM
1.38V for the QPI Voltage.
All timings at stock.
A random selection of 8 kits were tested and all passed Prime testing at these speeds.
If that wasn't enough, we cranked things up to the "Suicide Mission" level of madness and:
Nuff said I think. What a piece of kit. It made it into windows at 2000MHz and remained stable with general tasks but crashed in Prime , but to be fair that is more than reasonable fo a £69.99 Kit with a rated speed of 1333MHz.
Results will obviously vary with Boards, BIOSes etc. So, if you want a £69.99 Inc VAT bundle of Tri-Channel, 6GB awesomeness.....you'd have to be mental to even bother looking past this little beauty!
