Hey guys, my pc is overclocked to 3ghz (fsb 1333, ram @1066). RAM is down to 1066 as Corsair have advised me to lower bandwidth with 4 modules. They are totally unhappy at 1333 (so this issue might be related to RAM, but keep an open mind for me:D).

OC settings are:
Vcore:1.35 (intel burn test/prime stable
NB: 1.3 (stock
VTT:1.3
VDImm: 1.6 (stock)
PCIE:101
SPP<>MCP:200
All the rest on AUTO.

I was playing GTA IV for quite while, no problems 'till I closed the game down. I got back to desktop, pc was unresponsive for a while, then displays just went black. This has happened before, but when I was trying to run a higher clock.

This issue happens after the pc has been on for a while, leading me to believe that it is a HEAT issue. NB temps was 55, SB was around 60.

Graphics cards were in the low 70s. The cpu was maxing at 50 so that's not the problem.

Would an overheating NB be causing these black screens? Or maybe an undervolted NB? My gfx card temps seem to be fine. The NB and SB temps are also OK, according to ASUS tech support.

I am at a complete loss.

N.B. This might be important! When I was trying to run RAM @1333 mhz (stock speeds) it worked fine with SLI enabled. I tried disabling SLI, and both my displays went black, and didn't recover (like just what happened now).
I had to reset, but it froze every time I got into windows. So, I lowered RAM to 1066, booted into windows, enabled SLI, rebooted, put ram at 1333 again, and it booted up just fine again.

This issue therefore might be down to RAM? Thanks for any advice guys.
