Far far away....
I have the annoying problem that my PC will not shutdown or sleep properly.

When I shutdown the via Windows everything happens like you would expect other than the power to the PC is still on. This also happens when you try at put the machine into sleep mode.

This is definitely a problem with the PC being overclocked because if I back the FSB down the PC will shutdown and or sleep properly.

Any ideas?

just hold in the power button :)

Well done genius. I know I can do that my point was that I don't want too and that if I put everything back to stock for example I do not have too.

This problem has only existed since I increased the amount the CPU is overclocked.

Surely if it only happens when you clock the pc...its a problem with the overclock, and your pc not liking it.

Simple answer sadly, Don't clock it.

Or find a different way or getting the same speed.

I know it is a problem with the overclock, I was wondering why it happens and if there is away around it.

If I set the FSB to 378 x9 it shutsdown, anything above 378 and it shutsdown but with the power on.

So all the fans still spin etc...? Weird.

Swear we had that at work ages ago =/ Can't remember why exactly though
