My lovely new PC is giving me grief!
I have everything set at stock speeds, my Abit X38 Quad GT board with ABit UGuru is set at default with autofan monitoring. So 266MHz reported and 1.4 core volts.
I have been running Prime 95 on Vista 64 for a while this morning and temps were up to 40 deg C! at stock. I thought I'd check all was well with CPU-Z.
It reports Volts at 1.576 core and CPU speed at 1.65MHz due to FSB of 294MHz
Help, which do I believe. As I said everything is set at stock!
It SHOULD not be overclocking of its own free will surely! Especially when the UGuru utility says default and reports default timings!
