Hi

Looking at the overclockers build
Intel 10th Generation Comet Lake, Intel Core i3 10105F Quad Core, Intel H510 Motherboard, Up to 32GB 3200MHz Memory, SSD/HDD, 7.1 HD Audio, 500W 80 Plus Bronze Rated PSU, Windows 10, Micro-ATX for £599
Is this a decent spec with good upgrade possibilities in a few yes, or should I build my own? I've changed power boxes, graphics cards and ram before but never built one from scratch...
If you would recommend a self build, what would you recommend for £599?
I already have a corsair rm850 power supply which is unused (needed it to try and bring my old one to life but the PC ist kaput

Thanks in advance

I'll be using it for games, New World etc. Not streaming, not FPS as haven't got the reflexes for that anymore!
Graphics card on my old machine asus GTX650 so a little old now

Oh and I'm a touch nervous about installing the OS, which is the only bonus for someone building it for me

Well, I'm game for a go, so any advice on a build? For gaming New World, not fps, have a psu (if its any good) for circa 500-600. Most likely will upgrade bits every 6/12 or so, or longer if its expensive !

The 5600g 6 core cpu has decent onboard graphics which would surpass your old 650 .

Will the APU be enough to run new world though at a decent playable experience?

I'd be more inclined to pick up the B-grade 10400F that OCUK have for 95 quid and use the difference on a GPU even if it means second hand shopping.

Needs a PSU.
He already has one its in his first post.

Just seen a youtube vid and 720p low sttings is about 50 fps but can drop. The 10400f and a better gpu would yeild more fps someth8ng like a 1050ti.

Bring back the bb code button .

Yeah it's annoying now to spec builds as it literally means writing in every item with prices, has anyone spoke to Powers at be about it?
I used the txt button and copy and paste the basket but it doesnt link and show images as before.

Hope they fix this.

Im not sure which mod to talk to i linked gibbo in my post about it , do you know who to contact @Joxeon ?

Just seeing what could put together with the 5700g as eight cores, and seems to set between the 5600x and 5800x in performance...Can shave off some money, the 5700g for £300, case for £65 (so that's £55 off)..can also go lower mobo...also wanted to check the bb code..guessing you on phones then or tablets? The new mobile site sucks..the stuff it come up with first as relevant is far from imho

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £697.21 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Hi Gents, thanks for the two options!
I see neither of them have a separate graphics card, are integral GPUs good nowadays? I'm assuming I can always add one in later when I can find a decent priced one?

Yes the onboard graphics are good and you can add a gpu at a later date, @Joxeon suggestion is another decent option .

Check out reviews on the 5600g and 5700g
