just have a question, in overclockers pc builder, i find myself looking at the CPU cooling options and realy hopeing for something more.

i got a pretty good build, but the cpu cooling i dont thing is very good which overclockers offer.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775)

i think this cooler is rather avg, and from reveiws it doesnt seem to be that queit nor very effective,

personaly and probably more people might agree, id like to see more CPU/cooling options ie maybe have 120 extreame heasink+fan option, maybe scyth zinpang, or just something of better quality, which i would expect in the higher quality range section of pc builder.

What is exactly the OcUK Extreme Sub Zero Watercooling Kit
sinse there no reveiws for this around, and i cannot find many people here who have used it, nor does it explain what it is.

Basicaly, the cooling options for PC builder are the only thing stopping me atm from purchasing from overclockers...

The Arctic Freezer 7 Pro is a good cooler you can run a CPU overclocked to arround 3.4ghz with the CPU running at a reasonable temp.

The Sub Zero Watercooling kit is an all-in-one watercooling kit but i would recommend spending a little extra and buying the bits individually.

^^ the artic freezer from reviews doesnt seem to be that great compared to other cpu coolers, ie scyth zinpang or 120 heatsink ect, nor is it very queit.

The sub zero pack, like yo said can be beter if got indervidual, but my question was, why are these the only options in the higher end section of PC builder section?

I would have thought overclockers would put better cooling options for those customers who willing to spend more on cooling, and thus pc builder higher end section would be able to have this...

i hope overclockers can add more cooling options for CPU ect, into pc builders high end section, sisne this personaly the only thing holding me back atm

They use the Arctic freezer 7 because it is compatible with all their intel builds that they sell. They used to have the Tuniq tower as an option and the zalman aero but in transit they would be damaged or damge the PC by coming loose. If you are buying a PC from overclockers then i would recommend calling them as they maybe able to change the heatsink for a different one for you.

i going to give them a call and see if they could change it.

Just wondering i looking to case options and wondering is thermite armour a little small for GTX 260?

Also hows the stock cooling for it?

OR

Would t107 case have better stock cooling and better case to use?

I cant see why they wouldnt change the cooling. The armour case is a big case and will definetly have space for the 260 and you will still have a lot of space to allow to a good air flow. The case has a fan for the hard drive bays to keep them cool and has a fan at the top of the case to allow cooling for the PSU. You can also change the fans or upgrade them if they are not doing the job but that case will allow upgrades aswell for another gfx card and will still stay quite cool.

i think i got a good spec in pc builder, just need to phone them up and ask about CPU fan ect.

wouldnt bother with the gtx260 tbh
that price range the performace is in ati

your psu might be overkill too

tbh the 4870 seems to get very hot, and from what it seems isnt as amazing as people claim, yes it very good, but i want a card that runs cool and quiet and will do me good,

the power supply the pc builer wont let me change sadly:(
