Posted on these forums for some advice as "Titan Goliath" system built by Overclockers needed replacing. Within a day or so had some great advice from a couple of forum contributors and proceeded to place an order based on their opinions.

Ordered 28/10 a custom build of parts put in my basket. This gave me a far greater choice than the online pc configurator. Sent pre sale query and Damo replied immediately quoting £60 to put it together. Bargain!

31/10 PC is delivered to my home and within 15 minutes I'd removed it from it's first class packaging, removed the internal packaging and plugged it in. Windows 8.1 wasn't really for me but again followed advice and specced it. First impressions are that it's a good OS, will just take a little getting used to.

Within 30 minutes I've got BF4 installed, loads in rapid time thanks to the Crucial MX100 SSD, upped the settings to Ultra and just have to say wow. The game now looks as it should.

Overall the whole experience has been incredibly positive. I've got exactly what I wanted (smaller system, quiet and powerful), spent less than I had budgeted for and still got a 4790K/GTX970, and got it turned round in 3 days despite not paying any extra for the fast build. The build itself arrived with all drivers and OS installed, cabling is incredibly neat and it's looks fantastic.

Many thanks to all at Overclockers and of course you guys who spend the time to help guys like me make the right choices.

This is why OCUK have the reputation they do/and deserve to have.

These forums are so popular and helpful, due to the people who helped you..

I'm glad you were happy with the service and I'm sure the dons will be happy to see this too.

in the end you will be glad you went for win 8.1 and not 7 as now 7 is no longer bundled with oem pc's and most if not all will be win 8.1 until 10 gets released, 8 on it's own wasn't great for newer users but 8.1 is already as close to 7 as you need it to be in looks and feel, but where it's much better is speed and easy of use and the repair features it has if things do go wrong, faster load and boot times just to name a few, games are slightly quicker as it uses memory better etc etc

once you buy from here, a whole system that is, you never look back or go elsewhere at a later date either :)
