Does anyone ever think it would be good if overclockers sold games. im looking at buying hardware and would preffer to use oc as i know they alway deliver on time and have never had an issue with them. but to get the games i want i will have to go elsewhere.

Would this just be hastle for them or would others agree they would make a lot of money from it and would benefit from it.

Im bad for not trolling throu preveous threads but personaly realy cant be bothered with it usualy there is a fantastic person who links them and i love those people lol
so it probably has been posted before lol

Plus do you really want to be paying £5 postage for a game?

it wouldnt bother me as i want to buy a joystick from here and could have combined the two i know other places do free delivery its just the convenience side

Not a sniff! OcUK's prices are pretty high on some things, especially consoles etc. I think they should stick to components and concentrate on being more competitive!

I think it'd be a waste of time, they (probably) can't compete with the big software etailers especially with the delivery charges. In the past OcUK stocked a few Xbox games iirc (hence mentioning competitors that sold games was frowned upon) and I doubt it was a very successful venture.

They need to concentrate on being competitive with PC components before they venture into other areas IMO. Anyway like it has been said I doubt OcUK can compete with well known retailers due to their sheer size. Bulk buying can make all the difference it seems :)

I would imagine they’d have to sell a lot to make it worth while, and there are lots of retailers selling games at decent prices, I would think it’s pretty much an overcrowded market.

I certainly don't think it'd be worth it at all, it'd only lead to complaints and then suspensions on here when people disussed pricing of PC games.
The prices we saw before were not competitive especially when you added the postage price on to it.

Not going to happen, look at the extremely low prices you can get PC games at, from numerous competitors. I just couldn't see OcUK managing to compete with the number of sales so prices would be higher.

As said, there are quite a few very big competitors ( bigger than OcUK) around who can do super bulk buying to drive down the price, more than OcUK probably can do at the moment.

They could always do some kind of 10% off any order under £100 when you buy a PC game or something, to make them competitive in another direction

I’m not that bothered really, I’m really happy with the retailer I use to buy games so makes no odds to me if OcUK started selling them. In a way it can be a shame when a retailer starts selling to much, nice when they focus on one thing like OcUK do, car cleaning products aside.. :)

I dont think they're focusing on a market with those. It's more just catering to the needs of current customers. I dont know, but i dont suppose they're any cheaper than anywhere else.
