I certainly wouldn't ring 0871 numbers business or not. Nice to see a dedicated area though so cudos to OcUK.

Never mind businesses, having an 0871 number for sales is a bit of a cheap tactic IMHO. I could justify it for support lines, if those are staffed by good teams, but I'm already trying to give you money - please don't rob me on my phone bill too.

we understand the 0871 number is not the best choice for us but at the moment and in the future that will change, we do have other points of contact like msn, emails, skype and the facility to outbound call which are proving popular with our growing clientele.

0871 is 1.5p a minute for a lot of voip phone providers. Not a problem for my busnes.
