Why do I keep being asked this on a regular basis and yet nothing seems to happen if I click it? What is it supposed to do?

It’s supposed to give you push notifications.

My son tried to push me over last week. Overclockers didn't notify me in advance. So they don't work very well. I wouldn't bother turning them on.

Unfortunately since Barry Chuckle passed away only pull notifications are working.

It’s supposed to give you push notifications.

Appears to do nothing.

I turned it on by mistake after a win11 install and i got rafts of notifications in the Windows notification thing (very right side on taskbar).

They stack up whilst you arent logged on, so if you've a few to read , you get multiple ding ding ding noises and boxes flashing up for each one, rather than one main notification ( maybe its customisable).

Quickly found it quite annoying so turned it off.
