*****Overclockers UK System Configurator LIVE!*****

Hi there

The little niggles in grammar etc. I shall get our IT department to sort. :)

I've now added the following options:-

Onboard VGA Zero cost option for cheaper Intel and AMD PC's.
More cases added!
More motherboards added on certain PC's.
Akasa Card Readers made an option.

I am now looking at overclocking options, anything else just say and I shall look into it. :)

Long shot but here goes.

What about the option to have none? For example, Build a system but choose to leave out the PSU? Or the RAM? (obviously make the Case, motherboard and cpu mandatory) As some people may be like me and have RAM, or the GPU etc left over from an old build that could be added into one of these systems? I know this may cause issues with warrenty however.

Good Idea, other than that though it looks great :)

I might be missing something here or not reading the instructions right, but when I select AMD extreme option, there are no Motherboard options ? do the AMD builds come with a fixed mobo and no choice for you to change ?

very good idea if it could be implemented.

Alright Gibbo, just 2 quick ones:

Any chance of adding a good but compact case like a Lian Li PC-A05NB to the SB lot?

What cable management will these systems have?

I can see a purchase on payday!

Cheers

the problem with this though, is if they set the bios to run at its best, and then you stick in a different speed/latency of ram, then this could then cause no end of problems. i like the idea, but can imagine it being a pain when customers start adding their own parts and it not boot/post or generally behaving as expected. if you are going to add your own parts, then generally you would buy the components and build yourself surely, not costed it out, but normally its cheaper that way too. just my thoughts though.

Fully loaded system, fully overclocked, RaiD, tiny case and it lets me checkout with a stock intel cooler :p

Hey there'll be little bits like this that are missed just thought I'd see what had been.
Get some null fields set when the overclocking option is selected :)

It wouldn't give me the option of a 300w value PSU tho :( lol
shame I had Xfired 2 6950s lol

Hey Gibbo this may be a silly question but do these systems come with the same warranty as your other pre built systems.

I.E
Service Package
- Full 12 Month collect and return warranty
- Each specification is assembled from handpicked components for compatibility and stability
- Telephone, web note and forum technical support

Thanks

please add the 600t and also white 600t special edition when it comes out in march.. iz waiting for it and u got your self a order. :P i actually e-mailed OC about doing a build for me.. so this works also..:) thx good job and good idea..

It's been a long time since I've built a PC from the ground up. Every build since 2002, including my current one always involves selling off or using some of the previous hardware to soften the blow.

So I messed about with an extreme AMD build and realised that 1500 notes don't buy you much these days.

At least the configurator thingy works. :)

Good start. Can't wait to see it fleshed out more.

Perhaps tier drop down for compliant components? And definitely needs some sort of red flag system for final unstable builds.
