Hi,
I have just upgraded to 2gb ram I went for the cosair value kit to keep costs down as I got a X1950pro aswell.
I used to have the processor running at 260 x 10 2600mhz with 1gig of ram on a 166mhz divider which was rock solid.
Now though I am unable to run my new ram at the 166mhz divider which would be 216mhz for the ram It just reboots and locks up all the time.
Default timings are 3,3,3,8
My question is what would give me the best performance lowering my overclock to 2400mhz 240 X 10 and running ram on 166mhz divider so would be 200mhz as its rated or leaving it as 2600mhz and running ram on 133mhz divider so its only running at 173mhz but at 2.5,3,3,7?
Ive tried running at 306 X 9 and 133 divider but my motherboard Abit AV8 doesn't seem to like fsb over 280 it just comes up with an error when trying to boot.
