Hey guys I'm overclocking my Asus 5850 and I was hoping to get some feedback on my results so far...

currently i'm sitting stable at:
845 core
1160 memory
1.112 v
68 degrees

does this seem about right or is this too hot for these clocks etc

thanks

Seems about right to me. Keep going now. :)

Mine was a fantastic clocker and needed 1.162v for 900/1200 and only 1.2v for 1000/1250. It was watercooled though so temps were never above mid to high 30's.

i'm at 855
1185
1.125 v

but getting the odd artifact after 15 minutes of playing. Not sure weither to put the volts up more or what. help please :P

mine at 850/1250 1.2v. I need to take some time to see if I can increase this a bit. I'd like to get to 900/1250 just to see if it makes any difference.

You coul dgive it a try but keep an eye on the temps. I'm no expert at clocking but even after an hour or so of crysis my temps are in the 60's.
I don't know the max volts these cards can handle.

I'm at
870
1225
1.149v

getting 67 - 69 degree on furmark.

going to be investing in a a few fans and some time in making my case as tidy as possible and try to push the last few mhz out of it.

Got mine @ stock volts 825/1100 wanna push it further as well. Never to sure how far to go on the memory and if it actually makes a difference at all. Dont really wanna go higher than 1.2v either so might have a play around later and see how far i can go :D.

Any of you guys water cooled your GPU's? I have always thought of giving it a go but im guessing it would be stupid to water cool the GPU and not the CPU as well. On air my temps are pretty good idles with a dual monitor setup @ 35c and underload playing games like BFBC2 55c max

Don't really know to be honest. I started with the memory, but only because I read in a forum that these had the same memory as 5870's which were all good for 1250. So I upped it slowly to that before starting on the core.
