Hiya guys I've got my I5 3570K at 4.2GHZ to get rid of any bottleneck on my 670 now to overclock it, how far will it go? I came out of the box with a 1150 Core clock? :D What settings do you recommend I'm running BF3 on everything maxed out and haven't dipped below 48 FPS however can I increase this minimum fps to say 54 FPS or something from overclocking? :D

Literally installed my Windforce today, set the power target to maximum (111% for me), whacked the GPU to +100mhz and the memory to +500mhz. Keep benchmarking through Unigine to see if it's stable, if it is, up the GPU offset by +10 until it's unstable, then work down every 5mhz until you find a stable spot. Do the same for the memory.

Currently running at +100mhz GPU Offset, +740mhz Mem Offset. The fan is pretty much dead silent the whole time and I hit 1288mhz boost now. :)

Unigine made the card hit about 54'C and I couldn't hear the fans at all.

Got +100 Core clock, + 500 Memory clock, +111 Power limit and Bf3 after about 10 minutes just closes down I have to Control, Alt, Delete to get to task manager doesn't say "not responding" but I have to end it.

My CPU is also overclocked to 4.2GHZ at 1.2V

It's unstable, you will probably hit 700mhz on the Memory, try stepping down 10mhz on the GPU Offset until BF3 doesn't crash.

illuz is saying that 500 memory should be fine, and that it is the gpu offset (core clock) that is the most likely cause of your instability. I could only get mine to +87 before it caused Heaven to crash.

Try knocking it down in the way illuz suggests, run BF3 or a couple of benchmarks in Heaven and if you don't get a crash you're stable. If it crashes knock another 10 off and try again.

This is my best effort so far.

Make & Model: GB Windforce 3x 670
Best Boost clock: 1299
Temp: 58
Noise: loud (100% fan)
Heaven Score: 1989
Heaven Avg. FPS:79

Best memory o/c is +300 (6600 effective)

Not all windforce 670's reach mega memory overclocks.

my windforce hits 1189, i think it can squeaze a bit more (like 5 mhz) but anything over 1200 is definitely unstable
