Overclocking 670

If I use Afterburner to overclock the graphic card - do I need to keep reloading Afterburner to keep overclock?

Once you've found a stable overclock make a profile by pressing save then selecting 1,2,3,4,5 which ever one you want. And on the very bottom of Afterburner's there's a button that says something like "set overclock when pc turns on" just make that green

what does that actually do? does it run software in the background or just change some system settings?

If you overclock your card it will do it from boot so you don't have to keep opening MSI Afterburner.

yeah i am just wondering if doing this will load any special services or anything or it just alters settings in registry

the app still loads to the task bar yes
