When I got in to overclocking I had a 2500k on a z68 board but now due to certain circumstances I have an asus p5k-e and q9550 with some patriot ram (800mhz I think). Most settings are the same or similar in the bios but I don't want to push it given it is quite an old chip. I currently have 3.4ghz stable (8.5 x 400) but haven't messed around with memory, so can someone please tell me what I can realistically expect from this combo? thanks in advance
