Overclocking 8700k Cinebench Scores

Ok so I finally have a working cooling system now, I have the Corsair H105 using EK-Varder Fans. I purchased the Delidded 8700k and have overclocked it to 5Ghz using 1.35v. This is the first time I have ever manually overclocked.

I have done a quick 1 hour run on Prime95 and 1 core got to 76c which is ok for me.
I ran realbench and Cinebench with no problems. My score is 1587 CB on Cinebench, I have no idea if this is a good score or not? Idling with just Chrome open temps sit around 26c.

I will give it a good run tomorrow morning on Prime95. I have read 6 hours is plenty to see if it's stable?

Running a game can at max can be a good indicator.

I think mine running @5.3 was around the max 1740 mark, I remember it coming in just under my 1800x score which topped about 1,800... So not so bad, bit of messing about you are about in line.

I'm pleased then. I don't really want to go any higher than 5Ghz I'm happy with that. Played Ghost Devon Wildlands tonight for 3 hours. Temps never went above 53c so I'm pretty chuffed at how these delidded cpu's perform.

Good stuff, I runs 5.1 daily use and it’s brilliant. Delidded also...
