Overclocking 8800GTS Problems

Used ATI tool to try overclocking my card.Set it to find max core and it went up in small bits until it blue-screened.On restart I decided against trying to clock the card (got scared ) but now the card's fan is on full blast all of the time?! Any solution to this?
