Hi,

This is my system specs

AMD x4 960T 3.0Ghz Processor
Hyper 212 evo cooler
GTX 560 TI GPU
Windows 7 Ultimate
various usb sources keyboard mouse, 360 controller, joystick
pci Wireless card
EZCOOL 650W Power supply

Here is my problem

Overclocking the cpu upto 3.4ghz is not a problem on stress tests however if i go higer or increase the voltage a bit the pc shuts down completely just turns of no screens or anything when i click start to stress test

Core temps are fine

Does this sound like a psu not good enough

Thanks

Jonny

Hey,

What are you voltage settings?

PSU is terrible (i've had two of those blow on me) but it shouldn't be holding you back for getting a better overclock.

Are you incresing the multiplier or FSB

Check that your RAM isn't being overclocked as you go. Make sure for OC'ing it stays below whatever is rating is. Am guessing 1600mhz.

What motherboard do you have?

It should mearly be a case of raising the multiplier, have noticed that most 960T's can go to around 3.5 with ease. getting it past that can be an arse
