never done this before, but i purchased a 'Zotac 9800GT ECO Edition' which apparently overclocks well, but just wondering where u start!

Well download rivatuner if you havent already. It will also let you control the fan speeds which, you will probably have to bump up if to keep everything happy. Ill try to find a good tutorial for it. - There seem to be some useful ones on youtube, so you should look there.

Making fan profiles is actually really useful, especially since the GT stays at the same fan speed until temps get really high and then it throttles the fan up a lot, which is very annoying. - i always enjoy Australian tutorials anyway ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXr6IIj1sLY

Most GT's could get close to 700 on the core and thats with shaders linked to the core speed, cant remember that figure cause im on my laptop.

The ram is a bit more sensitive, cant remember that either, though it might be in my signature ;)

Keep an eye on the temp and just test each change by playing a game, or you can use some benchmark or game fly through if you want.
