Hey. Could someone help me figure out what the hell is going on here? I can't OC this card any higher than 650 core and 1632 shader (linked) without getting artifacts and then a crash in furmark after 30 seconds. This is really low and I've seen people easily get 720+ on stock fans, I'm running stock fans myself and the temps aren't even going above 70 so I doubt that's the problem. Is there anything I can do to get a higher OC? I'm not really that experienced in overclocking graphics cards, could I break it if I keep trying or would I need a really big overclock to do that?

Standard clocks are 600, 1500, 900 and the most I've got is 650, 1632, 970. Seems pretty low to me.

Thanks.

Maybe reached the max your core is capable of, and AFAIK you can't adjust voltage on the 8800/9800gt so it looks like it's the end of the line. Try reducing the shader clock a little, you may gain some core Mhz this way.

Furmark is overkill for testing overclocks, I can fail stability in furmark but be stable in any game I play.

Thanks for the reply. I already tried raising the core by itself and it would only go to 680. Can you recommend something else to test with? I've been using the "xtreme burning mode" maybe it would be better with that off.
