Hi.

Overclocking my 2600K for the first time and just wanted to check I am doing it right :p

I have set the following on the BIOS:

AI Overclock Tuner = Manual
BCLCIK Freq = 100.0
Turbo Ratio 45
Internal PLL Overvoltage AUTO
Load Line Calibration Ultra-High
VRAM Freq 350
Phase Control Extreme
CPU Capacity 100%
CPU Voltage 1.32

Now when I boot, the POST still shows 3.4Ghz - Should this not show the overclocked speed? When I ran some benchmarking I had CPU-Z open and that seemed to show speeds of about 4.5Ghz under load, but how can I actually check?

Some screen shots of the benchmarking

Cheers :)

load cpu-z and while stressing look to see if cpu clocks go to 4.5ghz

leave all turbo ratios on auto and just set the cpu multi to 45x

can also enable all power saving and set cpu v to cpu offset

use high llc and use +0.020v offset then see,cpu should downclock at idle/full speed at load

It was CPU-Z which I had open which was showing 4.5Ghz - So Sounds like it has worked?

I will do the above too and see what if any difference.

So on POST it will still only show stock speed then?
