I had made a pc for my sister with my old 3200 XP althlon running 1.65 volts on a watercooled system (55 degress under full load)

She went pop after a 2 months, though it was a rather high mileage chip..

My 3200 Socket A run at about 37C. I upgraded to a X2 4200 and the heat went upto 40, tops at about 42C Its a zalman cooler, I wouldnt want to push mine past 50C. If I decided to O/c should give some headroom.

think i had mine at 1.65 for a while. that was a 3000+ venice. for everyday opperation i would say 1.55. these chips can actually take quite a beating. as for any gain it would really depend on the core you have. basically you need to have a venice under the hood.
