First of all I do apologise for asking NOOBIE questions!
Iam interested in overclocking my CPU and I know I have the right mobo to do it with, the only problem is iam totally clueless when it comes to it! I have looked through previous post to find out what people have said about overclocking my CPU type. I have a standard AMD CPU cooler of which I have read is no good for overclocking. On the other hand I have read that the artic Freezer64 Pro is a gooden for overclocking but aint it a bit on the cheap side? I would prefer a Asus Arctic Square CPU Cooler but they arnt cheap is there much of a difference? Plus what are the temperatures about? What am I aiming for thats stable and not going to kill my comp and what software is best for measuring my temperatures? Is the Asus one I have should imagine I have got with my MOBO any good? Also what are the Volts about?
Any help is much appreciated.
