Got it to 2825Mhz non of the cpu temps are going above 34C. Air cooling...

Voltage is at 1.3v have touched anythign else. and its just failed orthos.
however my mobo bios wont let me go any further voltage wise than this, to make it stable?

i have a ASUS m2N4-Sli.

Is it me or is this right, anyway of making it more stable with this as a voltage limit? or **** i back off now?

Matt.

You could try as a test of the CPU vs motherboard. Lowering the multiplier in the BIOS to 8 or 9 but leave everything else the same as you have it at 2825MHz. Now test Orthos again and see if it still fails. If it doesn't fail after about 8 hours+ then you'll know the CPU needs more vcore at 2825MHz and if it does fail you'll know the motherboard/memory settings might need tweaking or are at their limit.

When testing with Orthos run the Blend test with priority at 9 as it's considered the best way to test. I also run a copy of rthdribl in a window at the same time Orthos is running to make sure the graphics card is also being stressed a bit.

Also when you say temps aren't going above 34c what are you using to view the temps?
