First things first no matter what i do to unlock the cores it blue screens on boot so . thats a no go.

but this is as far as i can go as im not very good at overclocking and this seems stable on prime for 6 hours maxing out at 44~ish degrees under a Titan Evo with MX-3

i would love to go higher and i think i have some decent headroom temps wise to do it, just some help would be needed

Thanks, Michael

EDIT: i have a GA-MA785GMT-UD2H Motherboard . :)

I would call it a day and be happy, 4Ghz from them is a good one, temps would not be too bad but you will prob start to find that a 100mhz increase will need crazy vcore and you must already be on the 24/7 safe limit of 1.5

that's impressive though 4gz on your dual core. I have been fotunate and unlocked the two other cores on my 550 but have yet to overclock them. Im waiting on my thermalright venomous x cooler which should be here tuesday then i'll have a bash.

the vcore i was running before the overclock was the sam i had it on auto . and my pc doesnt use a lot of power so what harm can it do . :)

I really wanted a quad tho, but 4Ghz is good none the less
