\o 8 Pack,

Got myself a 7870XT here, trying to overclock it.

I can get it to 1150/1650 before it starts to crumble, how would I go about pushing this higher?

So far I have not touched the volts, what is my safest maximum? What software would you use? I am currently using overdrive but have afterburner as well.

I run the fan speeds @ 100% when overclocking and running FurMark.

After the speeds I said, I can keep increasing the clocks to around 1250/1700 and it remains stable but as soon as I do something, like open a tab, window etc etc, instantly grey screens and I need to reboot.

I would like to get somewhat close to the speeds you had on your review.

Use the software produced by the Brand of the card you bought if at all possible.

Full volts will be safe for Benchmark runs as these days the card manufacturers dont offer really high volts using regular versions of software. 1.2 is cool 24/7 if you use a decent fan profile.

Ah ok, well the brand is sapphire and I got the software on disc, will probably download a newer version though.

Will 1.2 allow me to achieve similar clock rates like in your review? or for that are you using insanely high volts that are unstable, mainly for benching purposes?

Thought I would just update you.

Currently running my card @ 1200/1675, I presume the VDDC is the voltage that I can adjust, well it is the only option lol. Well anyways I went into Trixx and the VDDC was set to 11xx or something, I hit reset to just start from scratch and it change to 1256.

Is this the correct thing to change?

Googled it and apparently that is the memory voltage, not sure if Google is lying to me :D
