Overclocking A AMD Athlon 64 4000+ - Noob OCer Needs Help!

Hey guys,

I want to overclock my CPU but when I tried this before I got confused and didn't risk it for fear of damaging my PC.

Could somebody please guide me step by step, bearing in mind I am a complete novice at overclocking?

its not great guide, but on my friends pc i clocked his to 235x12 with a 166 divider(limit) and 1.45v, he lives an 1hr away from me so i had to make it super stable because he is a proper noob, could have got more from it quite easy but didnt have the time, ya can slowly increase ya fsb to this but make sure you do the divider first, he was also on the stock cooler as well
