Ok ive had enough overclocking my cpu as my ram is limiting me from now on so i want to move onto overclocking my GTx a little. Its allready at 600 and 1800 from factory. What would be a safe overclock to go to on stock cooling without temps changing much. I imagine its allready cherry picked if its a factory overclocked one  ?

620/630 with 2000 mem maybe?

any suggestions appreciated, cheers.

Obvious answer but probably not what you want to hear! TRY IT AND SEE.Was this really worth another thread?

i don't know i just thouhght some people with experience with the card might tell me what they did.

It may be the same card as others have but when overclocking diff results
will be had due to your own pc's cooling and also some cards are better
overclockers than others. Best way to do it is up the core little bit at a time
and do some benchmark tests to see if any artifacts appear. Keep doing this
until you hit the limit clock down to where it was fine. Repeat with the
memory. Never do them both together as you won't know which one is your problem.

Are you getting really crappy FPS in your games or something?

No fantastic fps thanks, but i thought this was the overclockers uk forum if im not mistaken. A place where people like too tweak there system to get the best out of it

Not really any point though unless your a stats-whore on 3dmark.

I have the same card as you and it did 618mhz core and 2000mhz ram fine.

BUT when i took it out to fit my handy bios switch, a BIG piece of glue fell out from under the cooler...... so its been running at standard for now untill I can be bothered to put as9 on the core and a new cooler!
