I'm getting the Q6600 in a Shuttle SP35P2 I was wondering what the highest speed it would go to on the standard cooler. What is a sensible temp. for a Q6600 or any processor does it vary?

3GHz max on stock cooler ESPECIALLY in the confined space of a Shuttle.

I'd look at the Silverstone Sugo chassis mate. Takes standard ATX parts but its Shuttle size.

I've already ordered the Shuttle but I already looked at that for Mesh and I don't like it. It's wider and uglier than the Shuttle but thanks anyway.

mine's up to 3.0ghz (334mhz x9) in a shuttle with a dvd writer and 2 hdds so quite cramped in there, doesn't go above 58degrees full load on the 'low' bios setting for the cpu fan

there's a flap at the top on the front, the drive goes behind there and a button is on the case that when pressed it pushes the drive eject button, the tray comes out and pushes the flap down, when the tray goes in the springs pull the flap into place
