overclocking a q9550 and a gtx280

hi folks,

I have just got my new rig set up and want to get
it overclocked asap. My old rig was an e8400 at 4ghz and a 4870 at 790/1100.

I have no experience of overclocking a quad and the last nvidia card I overclocked was a 8800 gtx

What I really want to know is what I can expect to get to for both my CPU and gfx card. Both are watercooled so I want to get as high 24/7 speeds as pos

What is the max voltage to put through the q9550 and what speed should I be aiming for and what clocks should I expect from my gtx280?

It's not much different to clocking a dual-core.

Just found out the motherboard I bought for my new components is rubbish (it's a mATX gigabyte board). The bios has hardly any overclocking features. Not to worry a mATX Lan party board is on its way to me now
