I'm building a workstation for a friend to house an AJA 2K video capture/ editing card. As the AJA card is very much pro, they only support workstation class hardware. From the available options the best motherboard for our purposes seems to be the Tyan Tempest i5400XT. Now this board will have two Xeon E5430 CPUs (2.66Ghz Quad core, harpertown) cooled by Thermalrights HR-01X 120mm coolers, which all seems to suggest that they might clock quite well, my worry off course is that the motherboard bios will have little or no options that would allow me to do this.
Any thoughts?
