Setup -
Asus - A8R-MVP
CPU - AMD64 3200+
RAM - Dual Channel 1Gig DDR400 Geil Ram
Graphics - Sapphire Radeon X800 128mb
PSU - Thermaltake 470 watt

I'm new to overclocking started to learn about it in the past week, i have been quite successful in overclocking my AMD64 3200+ but I'm having troubles with my ram.

This setup seems to be completely stable, but as you can see in the picture below my ram is only allowing me to have 170Mhz, when nothing is overclocked at all the stock speed its 200mhz, in my bios i can set the ram to 133Mhz but when i try to set it to 166Mhz i run into big issues, windows fails to boot with corruptions errors, and i sometimes get overclocking failure errors.

And My Temperature results on full load seem fine.

aye tis great isnt it.

I would lower the latency on the ram. 2,2,2, is quite tight. Also you may want to increase the memory voltage to 2.7 / 2.8

I wouldn't slacken the timings, the RAM should be able to run at STD timings with an overclock of 10-20MHz or so. Are the memory timings and voltage set to auto or manual? I'm pretty sure I had problems when they were set at auto so try setting them manually. I would also drop your HTT/LDT multi down to 3 now that your over 250 FSB/HTT.
