This is my first overclock and I'm looking to push my Processor up to around 4Ghz but i'm not too sure where to go from here:
I'm running an i7 920 on and Asus P6T SE with 6Gb of Corsair Dominator Gt 2000Mhz Ram. I have managed an overclock of 3.35Ghz so far by upping the blck to 160 and the voltage 1 notch up from stock. The system seems perfectly stable and has been so far although prime 95 had only been running for a few minutes when that screen shot was taken.
It is only cooled by an Artic Freezer Pro 7 V2 at the moment but I will be purchasing a Watercooler such as the H50/H70 or a high end air cooler next week. Any suggestions?
Would it be better for me to have higher ram frequency at rated timings or a lower frequency at tighter timings and how would I go about doing that?
