overclocking amd 64 4000+ (socket 939)

Ok ive heard that my cpu will be locked to overclocking, and that the amd fx and core 2 duo's r the unlocked chips, yet i know ppl have overclocked their amd 64 4000+. my specs r in my sig, would anyone know if i go into my bios if it would be poss to overclock and by how much safely?

You can overclock - read the stick!
Try - it depends on the chip. Most of the people with the recent 4000+ sold by OcUK are hitting ~3 GHz
