hi there

im new to pc building but have just built my first.

im running amd phenom 9950, asrock k10n78 motherboard with nvidia 8200, 8gb ram. i also have coolit domino water cooling.

this pc was built with the intention to either go to phenom 2 or if i can afford it then change the motherboard and go for the i7 but for the time being this will do as it was cheap

what can saftley be achieved by overclocking this setup?

running temps at 2.6 seems to be around 31-34 depending on what programs im running

cheers
chris

with water cooling it is more what can your chip achieve tbh, but the new phenom 2 x2 chips looks like a bargin tbh if it performs just aswell as the core2duo wolfdales

when u get it forget about unlocking cores concentrate on higher clock speeds:D
