overclocking amd64 little help

i have some ballistix pc4000 and i would like to know how i can overclock my amd 3000 venice without running a ram divider i no this chip can do 2.7ghz but i only want it at 2.3 - 2.4ghz but i want the ram running 1/1 do i do this just by setting the HTT at 1x
 
ok well then u will want to lower the htt (ltd) from 1000(5x) to 800(4x) in the bios.

also u will then want to increase the fsb of the cpu to however much is required for ure 2.3 -2.4ghz
 
That mem should be good for 250 mhz as its pc4000, try running 250 x 9. That will give you a clock 2.25ghz and run the mem 1:1 giving you 250mhz

Might even be able to get it to 255 x 9 = 2.295ghz on cpu

So set HTT to 250 and remember to set HT to 4
