Hiya guys,
About to start overclocking my cpu, only problem i have is that due to the fact that i still can't access my bios, i'm going to have to use this AI Tweaker that came with my mobo.
I just ran it now and it's overclocked the cpu to 4.4, but i need something to stress test it, i know most use prime 95, but everywhere i try to download it from it's only the 32bit version.
Is there a 64bit version and if so where can i download it from?

many thanks

No not really, download and run cpu-z and HWmonitor at the same time so that you can watch the hertz and the temperatures.
Select the torture test, just testing and select the max heat option.

When you have finished, exit from Prime, not just stop test otherwise it stays in memory.

thanks nkata,
Well that's what i did and had no problems, still wish i could get into my bios though as i'm not a fan of using software while in windows.
Wonder if it'll overclock any more.

Is the bios issue due to your 40" tv? can you not beg, borrow, steal a monitor to see if you can get the bios display.

andy.

andy.

This. Getting into the BIOS with a TV instead of a monitor is a pain since the TV doesn't show the screen up straight away.

I'm not 100% sure, but a search on google reveals a few others having the same problem, which turned out to be a hdtv they were using so i can only assume that this what the problem is in my case also.
I've tried everything i can to troubleshoot it, checked ram, graphics card, hdd, cpu, even replaced the board, but the problem was still there.
Got no problems at all booting into windows, playing games etc.
Its just seems whenever i press "del" to enter bios, the system just hangs.
Gonna try borrowing a friends monitor tomorrow.

Weird thing is though i get a P.O.S.T screen no problems, it's gotta be that, if not that i'm all out of ideas.

Just an update,
Got it stable at 5.0ghz, just finished running prime for 2 hours and no errors, won't be keeping it at that though, think 4.6 should be plenty.
